Counter/Kitchen Staff *Day Shifts Available* Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland
Job description
Due to rising demand, we now need to add to our team.
Our Chip shop is open from 12-8 daily so availability for day time shifts are there.
The ideal candidates will have previous experience in similar roles or similar environments but this is not essential. Must have excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
-Preparing fresh fish/chicken, fresh chips, batter and speciality dishes.
-Ensuring excellent standards of hygiene throughout to meet EHO requirements.
-Stock management & Rotation.
-Use Of Till System.
The ideal candidate would have experience working in a busy Fish and Chip shop or a background in cooking in a professional kitchen. This is not essential, as full training will be provided, just bring a Can-Do attitude.
This role is a physical job and will require lifting of heavy items at times, must also be able to work well In a team and independently.
Must be able to work well under pressure and strive to keep a high standard in all areas.
