Our client is an international (and European Head Quartered) training and development provider which has its main UK office in Berkshire. This is remote BUT you would be expected to get to the office one day per week (travel costs reimbursed).
The role reports to the UK's Head of Sales and is all about winning brand new business. Once won, your account manage that same business.
Specifically you will:
· Build a pipeline of business from a target prospect list of 200-300 companies spread across different sectors, geographies and company sizes.
· Cold call new clients and prospects to raise awareness of the brand and its solutions and discuss requirements.
· Identify new leads using social selling, convert and then nurture them into long-term clients
· Use LinkedIn and other social sales tools to drive the awareness and build your pipeline of deals
· Respond to enquiries by clarifying needs, probing for relevant background data, providing relevant information, logging details, and following up to advance the sale
· Follow up client or prospect requests with proposals/marketing 'literature’/relevant information, on a timely basis
· Proactively pursue elusive clients and prospects and follow up on commitments when promised
· Prepare effective and compelling sales proposals and presentations
· Achieve weekly agreed activity KPIs and CRM measurement tools set by the Head of Sales
· Have an annual personal sales target of £300k - £500k but in this year (2023) it will be less than £150k.
A full JD will be provided upon successful application.
The salary budget is set at circa £40-50k plus sales commissions and bonuses which are paid out regularly. The OTE could be £85k.
