Location: Birmingham
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Corporate Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of security services to our clients in accordance with their specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
- To provide a safe and secure environment for all staff, visitors, and clients.
- To monitor and control access to the premises and ensure that all persons on-site have the necessary authority to be there.
- To detect and deter criminal activity by conducting regular patrols of the premises.
- To respond to emergency situations and take appropriate action to safeguard people and property.
- To maintain accurate records and reports of all incidents and activities on site.
- To liaise with the client and other stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
- SIA License – Minimum requirement set out by the client.
- Emergency First Aid or First Aid at Work – Minimum requirement set out by the client.
- Up to date ACT Certificate – Requirement of the SIA.
- SIA Door Supervisor License – Allows all personnel to be prepared with conflict management & physical intervention skills.
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and react quickly to changing situations.
- A professional and courteous demeanour.
- A willingness to work flexible hours as required.
