We currently have an incredible opportunity for an experienced Cafe Manager to lead our cafe team at our new corporate cafe located in Fremont.
Founded in 2009, Tony Caters is a dynamic, well-regarded off-site catering company that produces events in the South Bay and all around the greater Bay Area. We also have another cafe located inside the The Tech Interactive Museum in downtown San Jose.
As the Cafe Manager you will be responsible for overseeing day to day cafe operations while maintaining a safe, sanitary and positive work environment for the staff.
We pay a premium for a Cafe Manager with a clean driving record that can begin and end their day at our company headquarters in Alviso. This would include picking up food & cafe supplies for the cafe in our company vehicle and returning the vehicle at the end of your shift.
This position requires a results-oriented and high-energy individual with the stamina and mental agility to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere. Excellent communication skills with all levels of management, staff, and customers will be key to your success.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure profitable, guest-centric and staff-supportive operations of cafe
- Supervise cashier and cafe support to achieve objectives
- Ensure consistency of products offered for sale; maintain safe and sanitary work spaces; order supplies in a timely manner while minimizing product waste
- Success in food and labor cost control is rewarded with quarterly bonuses
- Work collaboratively with Tony Caters extended management team to develop and adopt systems and procedures to streamline overall cafe operations

Requirements:
- Previous Cafe Management experience
- Cash handling experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Must be able to work continuously while standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift, pull and push materials/products to complete assigned job tasks
- Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to pass background check
