Job description
The Digital and Marketing team are now seeking a talented Digital Copywriter to join the team based in our offices in London for 6 months on a FTC to help with key projects and managing the workload. You will be responsible for TOV across all digital touchpoints that represent the GANNI ethos. You’ll be joining a small team in a high growth and dynamic business environment, where you’ll depend on your ability to prioritise and work across a multitude of projects.

YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU
You will be tasked with ensuring all products are described in an accurate and reliable manner, in clear and concise English and represent the GANNI ethos.
Responsibilities ahead of you (Include but are not limited to)
- Produce engaging, conversion-oriented, and on-brand digital-first BAU copy to meet daily deadlines, maintaining that they are brand-led, dynamic, concise and accurate. Ensure the copy consistently reflects the brand voice, adheres to brand TOV guidelines, and maintains consistency across different brand touchpoints and target audience personas
- Collaborate with designers, press, responsibility teams, and marketing partners to create written content for various platforms, including homepage, emails, GANNI.com, advertisements, and social media as requested.
- Partner closely with the Ecomm, Responsibility, and Marketing teams to generate innovative ideas and deliver high-quality work in response to briefs.
- Have the opportunity to work on a large variety of projects including email, site, social content, GANNI.com content, advertising and more simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Work with our agency to audit, optimise and rewrite existing web content to increase GANNI’s organic search visibility, implementing on-page SEO best practices throughout.
- Work closely with key stakeholders within the organisation to establish and maintain service and product messaging standards across both owned and earned digital properties.
- Work across communications on bringing our responsibility efforts and sustainability strategy to life across all channels including @ganni.lab
- Research on industry trends, terminology, and competitive landscape to demonstrate expertise & familiarity with marketing best practices
- Produce copy for all BAU creative assets across digital touchpoints, including homepage, email and landing pages, paid and organic social requests
- Edit your own writing alongside other digital content, such as images and video, if required
- Attend regular meetings with key stakeholders, particularly Responsibility team and SEO agency to to review the impact of your work
- Assist with site audits as required and contribute ideas for site page development.
TO HACK THE SYSTEM, YOU MUST …
- Specialise in website copy, supported by a portfolio of live website projects
- Have 3-5+ years experience of excellent writing and editing for marketing, websites and digital experiences
- Proficiency in writing SEO-friendly copy and knowledge of best practices and principles in performance marketing and digital-first copy.
- Previous experience or relevant knowledge in the sustainability arena or communications around responsibility efforts for a brand or media preferred.
- Have experience in proof-reading your own work
- Experience working in a highly global brand that serves multiple international markets
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills while working on multiple, simultaneous projects of varied size and complexity
- Outstanding written, verbal and visual communication and the ability to present ideas clearly to large teams
