We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter - Ottawa
We are looking for an experienced Senior Copywriter to join our team as we continue to grow as a global leader in identity, payments, and data security. We are looking for someone with exceptional writing capabilities who possesses a strong attention to detail and that is adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously. Entrust is a fast-paced organization and focused on growth, so flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly is key to being successful in this role.
They will report to the Sr. Manager of Creative Services and will work closely with multiple teams, including integrated marketing, brand strategy, product marketing, and events to develop engaging and informative copy that effectively communicates our brand's value proposition to our target audience.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced copywriter with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity industry to join a leading and growing company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating effective copy in the cybersecurity space, as this is a critical component to the success of this role.

How you will make an impact:
- Collaborate with designers, product marketers, demand generation teams, sales teams, and a variety of other stakeholders to develop and execute copywriting strategies that align with our brand's messaging and business objectives.
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for a variety of mediums, including web pages, blog articles, email campaigns, white papers, ebooks, solutions briefs, product documentation and social media posts.
- Conduct research and stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to inform copywriting decisions.
- Translate direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging, creative and effective campaign concepts and messaging.
- Ensure that all copy is accurate, compliant, and consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Work collaboratively with agency partners and stakeholders to develop messaging that resonates with target audiences.
- Create, edit, or refine content for internal and external communications, thought leadership, product enhancements, and other projects as requested.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years’ experience in copywriting.
- BA in English, Journalism or Technical Writing.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio of writing samples showcasing relevant experience including technical documentation. – Please attach portfolio with your application
- Strong industry experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be self-motivated and well-organized.
- Creativity, attention to detail, adaptability and marketing knowledge are also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with the ability to execute multiple projects at once with high-quality output.
- Industry knowledge of cybersecurity.
- Pays close attention to detail (i.e., strong editing skills).
- Able to speak in different tones for various audiences.
- Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines.
- Sound understanding of graphic design and a keen appreciation of the interplay between textual and visual elements.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating professionalism in all work-related interactions.
- Exhibits agility and flexibility to adjust to changing demands.
