“I can succeed as a Copy Editor Manager at Capital Group.”
As the Copy Editor Manager, you’ll oversee the 8 associates in the Wealth Management Copy Editing team. This includes managing the performance and development of each team member, interviewing, training and hiring new associates and contractors.
The Manager will oversee staffing and ensure that the Copy Editing team is not over capacity. The Manager will lead the Copy Editing team in editing execution across all content, identifying and recommending technology and process improvements to enhance the organization’s editing capabilities.

- You will have 10 or more years of copy editing experience.
- You will have previous experience managing people and building strong and effective teams.
- You will help drive business value by overseeing editing innovation in the organization by being proactive in identifying, researching and recommending improvements.
- You will play a critical role in managing the process to ensure the highest level of service is efficiently delivered.
- You will have a commitment to accuracy and compliance across all materials.
- We will leverage your expertise to plan, prioritize, delegate and coordinate projects.

Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $125,329-$200,526
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
