THE POST - Applicant Enquiry Coordinator


This is a key role in the University’s high-performing Marketing & Student Recruitment Department. The post holder will support the University's strategic plan to recruit high-quality students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels by providing telephone and web-based support for all UWS pre-applicants and applicants.


The post holder will work as part of the wider Student Recruitment team dealing with and answering all enquiries made to them for all modes and levels of study from UK, EU and international applicants; advising on programme options; assessing qualifications against programme entry requirements - creating bespoke email responses; answering telephone and in person enquiries and being approachable and supportive in dealing with enquiries.In addition the post-holder will work in partnership with the Admissions Office, Academic Admissions Officers and the wider Marketing and Recruitment team to deliver an outstanding service.


You will have proven and significant experience of working successfully within a fast-paced office environment, and ideally have telephone enquiry experience. The ideal candidate will have a background working in customer-driven and customer-facing roles. You will have a track record of being able to work autonomously and be able to demonstrate experience of using complex database systems, together with experience of report writing in a professional setting.


It is essential that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. You will have demonstrable interpersonal skills, well-developed customer care skills, and be familiar with the MS Office suite.
