This is an exciting opportunity to join Cygnet Oaklands as a Business Support Administrator. You will help to keep our essential care teams organised and supported to ensure they are able to provide the highest standards of care to the people who use our services.
You’ll be working full time - 40 hours per week helping ensure the safe and smooth running of services for the people in our care.
Oaklands is a specialist residential service with nursing, supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs in Hexham, Northumberland. The team support individuals who have additional mental or physical health needs and behaviours that may challenge.

Your day-to-day...
- Promote and ensure the good reputation for each Service. To act as a positive role model, maintaining and demonstrating a positive attitude towards residents, their families, visitors and other staff.
- Promptly invoice Clients and Local Authorities or person so responsible and follow up settlement of same using manual records and specialised computer software.
- Maintain complete Staff files ensuring they are keep up to date and in line with Healthcare Commission regulations.
- Ensuring that HR system remains accurate with all staff data recorded.
- Process all payroll information on a weekly basis.

You are...
- Knowledge of Windows operating system – Word/Excel/Outlook or equivalent
- Understanding of Mental Illness, Intellectual Disabilities and Autism.
- Understanding of payroll, HR functions and recruitment.
- Working knowledge of telephone systems.
- Good numerical and word processing skills in particular Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good communication skills and confident manner.
- Eye for detail ensuring accuracy.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
