Cineworld Ashford is a 12 screen cinema that has undergone an amazing refurbishment to include IMAX, 4DX, Screen X and a Starbucks proposition.

This vibrant cinema is looking for a Deputy General Manager with experience in a high footfall, customer facing role that isn't afraid to get stuck in with the team when the operations demands it.

As a Deputy General Manger, you will use your existing experience to ensure the smooth running of the cinema. This diverse role will see you managing the commercial aspects of the cinema. In addition to this, you will be highly visible providing a superior level of customer service and leading the team to deliver an unrivalled cinema experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Deputise for the General Manager in their absence

• Working in partnership with the General Manager, responsible for all recruitment, development and management of the cinema team with particular responsibility for your direct reports

• Implement and deliver and achieve business objectives through your management team

• Ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times

• Stock Control

• Cash reconciliation

• Addressing and resolving customer complaints

• Coaching Managers, Team Leaders and Team Members

• Adherence to Health and Safety legislation

• Monitoring compliance and maintaining standards

• Delivery of the Company Strategy to be the best place to watch a movie

• Performance management

• Operations management

• Budgetary management
