Key Experience NeededWhat our MDS Coordinators do: Participate in patient assessments by overseeing assessment process, setting schedules and assuring accuracy. Determine accurate expenses associated with a potential admission Review all applications for admission and communicate results of assessment Complete and assure the accuracy of the MDS process for all residents Maintain current working knowledge of criteria, serving as a resource for staff and communicate changes in regulations Look for potential risks and/or changes that may affect reimbursement Facilitate problem-solving for complicated admissions Start Medicare process and monitor assessment schedules and nursing documentation to ensure accuracy and timely submission Maintain client confidentiality and function within HIPAA regulations All other assignments and projects as directed by leadership‍What it takes to join the family: Experience in MDS Coordinator role or related experienceCurrent and valid compact license - nursing licenseValid and current RAC-CTExperience in a clinical and healthcare settingDeep medical terminology knowledgeSuperb decision making and problem solving skills Attention to detailTeam player and adaptable‍‍QualificationsWhy Polaris Group?We pay you for your initiative!
