Job description
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant's recipes and standards- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including assigning tasks and providing guidance- Develop new menu items and specials to keep the menu fresh and excitingRequirements:- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines- Strong leadership skills and ability to work well in a team environment- Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions- Attention to detail and passion for creating delicious dishes- Culinary degree or certification is preferred, but not requiredNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
