The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Fleet Controller with previous experience in actively delivering customer support. Additional experience in monitoring driving standards and performance in a previous role will be highly beneficial.
At Otto Car we consider safety and a duty of care to our customers and the public with utmost importance and our Fleet Controller position is central to this consideration.
The role requires the candidate to actively work within our Driving Development Department alongside our team of in-house qualified Driving Assessors with a primary function to risk manage for the benefit of the business and to improve driver safety performance.
The successful candidate will focus on reviewing the quality of customers' driving performance across our Fleet via our live and interactive in-car camera and telematic systems followed with appropriate and professional communications with customers when repeated low level poor driving conduct has been observed. Active communication with drivers is therefore required both verbally and in writing and when necessary via face to face meetings with customers at an Otto Car office.
A strong and professional character is required for this role in order to successfully deliver appropriate and necessary feedback to customers regarding their driving performance. The candidate will also need to deliver, when required, measured enforcement warnings to customers that fail to comply with our safety expectations.
Other duties will include updating driver and vehicle documentation / spreadsheets and performing other additional administrative tasks required by the business.
The ideal candidate will possess great communications skills and is someone who can deliver both positive and negative messages to customers in a confident, professional and empathetic manner. We are therefore not only looking for a good level of experience, but individuals who can express themselves well, take charge of situations when required and who can think effectively on their feet.

Salary: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
