Financial Controller
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller to lead and manage the finance department within their business. The successful candidate must have excellent financial, planning and forecasting skills.
The Role
· Provide finance and business support throughout the business
· Management of the finance department
· Develop and enhance annual budgetary and quarterly rolling reforecasting processes for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash flows.
· Work on cost reduction and analysis projects
· Key role in assessment of capital investments and funding projects.
· Develop a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
· Review business cases for major investment decisions
· Oversee production of statutory year end accounts and audit process to an agreed timetable for all group companies.
· Ensure all statutory obligations are met for all related entities.
· Review and ensure all monthly management accounts are complete
Essential Criteria
· Qualified chartered accountant or 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting role
· Degree or relevant qualification in related role
· Strong Leadership Skills
· Ability to multitask and manage high level of workload
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Highly motivated and eager to succeed
