About the role
C&I Electrical Technicians work directly with the Maintenance Managers to support with all maintenance, repair and improvement of all control and instrumentation assets. Working with our Computerised Maintenance Management System to raise, update, and record maintenance tasks supporting a weekly asset care delivery plan. C&I Technicians Support Maintenance Managers and act as a point of contact for asset care Manufacturing Excellence metric delivery at sites, leading workstreams, improving reliability and efficiency.
Key points you would be responsible for are:
- Deliver all Instrument & Control System maintenance activities for respective engineering centre/site
- Support plant breakdown situations. Analyse, fault find and repair root cause problems to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Implement standard methodology processes and procedures maximising effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring a genuine connection in all key relationships
- Delivery of Diageo Health & Safety commitments
Ultimately, being a source of advice, knowledge, and having the confidence to lead operations is the pinnacle of the day to day ways of working in this exciting role.
Working Hours are Day shift on weekdays with occasional weekend on call duties
About You

You will have positive can do demeanour, and the ability to make decisions fast, while dealing with high pressure situations.
Bringing with you a well developed problem solving ability and a willingness support ManEx principles are key to your success.
