Job description
My client a well established distribution and fulfilment centre based in Blackburn is looking for a number of temporary packers to join them during their peak season. Hours are rotating shifts 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm. The work is running for a 3 months period but could go on for longer for the right candidate. General duties include: Working on packing lines packing goods to specific customer orders Reading barcodes to match stock Working from order sheets to pick goods Labelling boxes to ensure orders are matched to address' Working to targets This is a great opportunity for someone looking for temporary work on the run up to Christmas or someone looking for packing work to boost their skill sets within manufacturing. The right candidate would have basic knowledge of packing and picking and have at least 12 months experience within this sector. This company is based on a bus route to Blackburn town centre or alternatively offers free onsite parking.
