The role of the operations coordinator is to be the first point of human contact to Scottish Power employees seeking assistance from General Services across all operational areas – including employee services (this includes catering, travel, print, mail room, telecoms). Fleet, building operations and moves and changes. You will provide advice and assistance to employees on how to access GSUK services delivering great customer service to all.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working collaboratively with the Hub manager and fellow Operations Co-ordinators to provide a single standardised service to SP, which includes dealing with internal customers across a multitude of areas ensuring customers are provided with a high standard of service
  • To support the digitalisation of employee hub services & help drive the delivery of outstanding service to our customers
  • Encourage SP employees to self-serve using websites and digital interface as the first and whenever possible the last point of contact with General Service
  • Participate in continuous improvement interventions in the Employee hub but also across the broader GS team to identify areas of improvement and then work with others to deliver improvements
  • Define the correct way that SP employees should use the General Services websites, digital services and employee hub

What you’ll bring

  • Previous experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative & remain calm and customer focused under pressure
  • Ability to respond positively to frustrated customers
  • Willing and able to develop skills in all areas of hub delivery
  • Ability to share their skills and experience and support their colleagues develop new skills
  • Proficient user of SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
