What you’ll do
The Commercial Contract Management (CCM) team performs end to end commercial management of our Vodafone Business UK customers throughout all stages of the contract lifecycle, including:
- Pre-sales (helping our sales teams to win new business at profitable margins)
- Handover (ensuring that business is contracted correctly; risk is understood and mitigated; and that contractual obligations are clear and handed over to appropriate teams for execution)
- In-Life (optimising the commercial performance of the contract (including change and exit management); managing commercial disputes; and driving margin and revenue improvement activities)
- Extension or Renewal (securing timely renewal of the contract whilst minimising erosion of revenue and margin)
As a Commercial Contract Manager, you will have the opportunity to be at the front and centre of the relationship with existing and prospective Vodafone Business customers in the UK.
In this role you will be required to work collaboratively with many different areas of the Business including Sales, Product, Solution, Legal, Finance and Technology; provide commercial thought leadership and decision making; and to work directly with our customers and occasionally with suppliers.
Who you are
Significant experience in Commercial and Contract Management- Planning and executing complex negotiations, with an ability to find pragmatic solutions; whether to resolve commercial disputes; close deals; or deliver margin improvement activities
- Able to evaluate commercial risk and provide appropriate mitigation through commercial terms, contract conditions or delivery methodology; plus be capable of coordinating the delivery of mitigation plans in-life.
- Able to structure and articulate compelling commercial proposals considering market and customer dynamics and focus on value creation for customers.
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment and operating in different positions (pre-sales or in life) depending on requirement of project.
- Able to collaborate with and provide commercial expertise to a wide range of stakeholders from different business areas, and have the credibility to influence decision makers at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to simplify complexity
- World Commerce and Contract (formerly IACCM) or MCIPS accreditation is desirable
