Inspired Plus is a provider of a Semi Independent support and accommodation for young people aged 16 to 24 years in the United Kingdom.
We provide young people with personal support to help them achieve their potential as they move towards independence. We offer them support and stability in a nurturing family environment.
We assess the young person’s social and emotional needs to ensure that they have the skills to live independently.
Every young person is assessed to determine their personal and individual needs so that their support is personalized and effective including;

Assistance
And Support
The pathway plan maps out the young person’s needs and ambitions and the route to independence. It covers the young person’s accommodation, practical life skills, education and training, employment, financial support, specific support needs and contingency plans if independent living breaks down.
Our aim is to ensure young people are able to develop life skills, make informed decisions concerning their lives, develop resilience so they can achieve independence and a successful transition into adulthood in a supported environment.

We are looking for support workers to work with the young people to support them daily and prepare for the future. To help the young people make informed decisions and choices to ensure they can live to their full potential.
To provide a structure, guidance and support in all aspects of life. To support staff act as positive role models who the young people can rely on to develop and maintain resilience, respect and skills.
We work with various agencies to provide an all round support network for the young people. We help the young people maintain and revive links with family, friends relative and other support networks.

We are looking for support workers who have more than 2 years experience working with young adults from 16-24 years old.

Are able to undergo a through reference check
Have a valid enhanced DBS on the update service (If you do not have one, we can process a DBS from you)
Have a driving license and own your own car and has business insurance
Have valid training certificates (If not, we can provide training)
Must provide 10 years work history
Undergo a full assessment which includes, application process, interview, induction and shadowing.
We need support workers who are able to work on a one week on one week off Rota. You will be supporting the young adults in their own home.
Job description
- Support the young adult with their independent living skills
- Support the young adult to their appointments
- Support the young adult with cooking
- Support the young adult with house chores
- Support the young adult to attend meetings scheduled by their social worker
- Support the young adult to attend college
- Support the young adult to do their weekly shopping
- Support the young adult with budgeting
- Support the young adult to their GP, dentist and opticians appointment
- Support the young adult to register to their local GP, opticians and appointment if they do not have one
- Support the young person with their personal hygiene
- Assist the young person to engage in weekly key working sessions
- Engage with the young person by planning activities with them
- Managing the load of report writing which involves, daily reporting, weekly reporting, incident reports, missing person reports.
- You will need be to literate in report writing
- You will need to maintain the cleanliness of the placement
- You will need to encourage the young person to clean their room
- You will need to report to management immediately if any incidents take place
Have a DRIVERS LICENCE and own YOUR OWN CAR and cover BUSINESS INSURANCE
We need staff who matches our criteria as we are heavy on auditing and inspecting.
This jobs is remote in different areas to where the young person lives.
The main areas are:
Derby
Kingswinford
Bedford
Nottingham
Swindon
Please bare in mind the rate is £700 per week NOT per day- THIS ROLE IS WORKING OUTSIDE THE 1R35 AND WILL REQUIRE YOU TO BE SELF EMPLOYED
