Continuous Improvement and Data Manager
Based at our Riverside Bakery site in Nottingham the main purposes of this role are:
- To be a leading change agent within the business to identify and close gaps in operational efficiency, utility usage, quality and safety from approved targets.
- Embed a continuous improvement culture throughout site, ensuring that processes are implemented and managed to improve and support optimisation of efficiencies within all areas.
- Manage projects from concept through to handover, responsible for the implementation of projects to the required time, cost and specification standards in a safe and quality compliant manner.
- Drive consistency through the process
Duties and responsibilities:
- Implement the existing Continuous Improvement Methodology.
- Analyse, interpret and understand data/reports and be able to identify opportunities for improvement action.
- Collaboratively support and lead multi skilled/cross functional teams.
- Use industry knowledge, product and equipment knowledge, project management experience and relationships across the organisation to enable successful delivery of complex/challenging projects.
- Collate data and present in an understandable format to be able to deliver required change.
- Coaching and developing to less experienced team members and peers.
- Ensure sharing of knowledge during each project/task to enable individuals and teams to retain CI skills ongoing.
- Must be able to not only identify reports but can also practically deliver improvements.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Educate low based lean principles - 5 WHYS, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, 5S
