The Role:
M&G Infracapital are looking for a Junior Content Creator to join their Investor Relations team in London.
Infracapital is M&G’s infrastructure private equity investing business, it invests in unlisted equity positions to create a diverse portfolio of high-quality sustainable infrastructure assets which offer stable cash flows and long-term capital value, whilst delivering a positive impact for society. Based in the City of London, Infracapital has a team of c70 investment professionals working across Transactions, Asset Management, Investor Relations & Capital Formation, and Finance under the leadership of its Co-Founders: Martin Lennon (Head of Infracapital) and Ed Clarke (CIO). The team has extensive investment and management experience across infrastructure sectors including utilities, transport, renewable energy, telecoms, and social infrastructure. Infracapital has raised and managed over €9 billion across seven funds/strategies.
A successful candidate will have some experience in marketing or social media content creation, knowledge of digital platforms and an interest in the financial or private infrastructure industry.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Develop website content
- Co-ordinate the global roadshow strategy and support with events
- Create specialist content for the investor base through webinars and online presence to engage prospective clients
- Support branding of the platform and positioning relative to peer to retain presence in an increasingly competitive landscape
- Improve visibility on relevant platforms and increase investors engagement
- Support IR & capital formation through various marketing initiatives and specialist events
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G’s operational risk.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience in social media, marketing strategy, content creator
- Ability to think creatively and generate ideas to improve strategy and content
- Teamwork – strong work ethic and initiative, with willingness to work hard during intense periods of activity
- Strong attention to detail and ability to use initiative and be proactive
- Excellent interpersonal skills– an ability to build relationships within the team and with a broad range of investors
- Excellent communication skills – effective communication skills, able to tailor writing or communications for the audience and distil complex information into key messages.
