ONE Payments is the payments division of the group, which is licensed in the UK (FCA-regulated) and in Switzerland. Overview

ONE is seeking a broad-shouldered and ambitious legal counsel to support the General Counsel in general contracting matters, company secretarial support and everything else that might pop up in our fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional and growing group.

This varied role will suit anyone who is keen to throw themselves into anything and take responsibility; who is well-organised but flexible; and who wishes to learn and grow into the position to make it their own. We expect that it will suit someone between 2PQE and 5PQE but will consider any qualified applicants.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and advising on a wide variety of contracts governing our relationship with commercial partners, from NDAs through to SaaS agreements and banking and liquidity provider service terms;
• Creating and maintaining a database of commercial contracts to which the business is party; and
• Support with company secretarial work including drafting director resolutions / board minutes, maintaining a database of corporate filing requirements across jurisdictions, and ensuring that such filings are made in a timely manner.

Helpful

• Experience of working in-house
• Familiarity with commercial contracts in a fintech / financial services context
• High-level understanding of the data protection regime
• Experience in a Payments or Electronic Money regulatory environment
