Job description
We are looking for an independent and self-sufficient worker who will fit into our well-established office team to help us update, finalise, collate and issue a number of essential policies which reach across the business. First-class writing skills are essential, as is a problem-solving mentality. Highly proficient Microsoft Office 365 skills is also essential.
Full time position: 30 hours per week
Holiday: 28 days per annum (pro-rated)
Salary: £16.85 per hour
Contract: Fixed Term – 3 months
Notice Period: One week
Reporting to: Managing Director
Requirements
- First-class literacy skills
- Problem solving mentality and ‘can do’ attitude
- Independent and self-sufficient worker
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Sharepoint and Adobe
- Degree preferred but not essential if similar experience is demonstrable
- Knowledge of Early Years sector preferred but not essential
- Two satisfactory relevant references
- Satisfactory DBS check at Enhanced level
Tasks and Duties
- Collate, update, proof, format a selection of essential policies across the business
- Work with colleagues from different departments to ensure policies are technically correct and accurately reflect Hopscotch practices and procedures
- Design and implement an efficient method for issuing policies to staff and to track acknowledgements
- Create a process for reviewing and updating policies on a frequent basis and tracking amendments
- Depending on workload there may also be an opportunity to create copy for the company website and other marketing materials in the future

- To attend occasional team meetings, company events, training courses, etc, sometimes out of your office hours.
