We're currently seeking a creative and experienced Digital Marketing Content Specialist to join our team and take charge of creating and executing effective content marketing strategies that promote our brand and engage customers across multiple channels. What you’ll do

- Develop and execute content marketing strategies that align with business objectives and drive traffic, customer engagement, leads, and conversions
- Create and curate high-quality and engaging content, including but not limited to, website content, blog posts, social media posts, digital ads, email newsletters, videos, webinars, workshops, whitepapers, and case studies
- Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO to increase organic traffic
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, customer success, and creative teams (i.e., design, video) to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of content marketing campaigns and make data-driven recommendations to improve performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and digital marketing

Functional Skills

- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
- Deep understanding of social media, trends and platform-specific nuances
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles (keyword research, on-page optimization, link building)
- Experience with content management systems and marketing automation tools
- Proficiency in graphic design and visual content creation tools (Figma, Canva)
- Ability to use data analysis and reporting tools to drive decision-making (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Hubspot)
- Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficiency with Hubspot considered an asset
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS considered an asset
- Experience with video equipment and video editing software is an asset

Qualifications

- Post-secondary Degree or Diploma with a focus in Journalism, Marketing or Communications
- Minimum 3 years of professional digital marketing or social media experience as a Digital Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Specialist, Content Marketing Specialist or similar
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Zoom, Asana and Slack (or similar platforms)
- Capable of working independently with minimal direction
- Passion for social media with an ability to think both strategically and creatively
- Experience working in a startup or primarily hybrid work environments
