Job description

We are now looking for a talented Content Marketing Manager to join our growing team, to support the Head of Marketing, Content and Brand Lead, and Digital Lead in driving and delivering integrated global marketing campaigns, both online and offline.

The successful candidate will work alongside marketing team colleagues in the development and delivery of Brand focused initiatives and wider marketing projects.

This position offers flexible working, with the expectation being that, if desired, the successful candidate can work 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days at home each week.

This job contributes to organizational success by:

  • Supporting key marketing initiatives developed by Head of Marketing, Digital Lead, Content and Brand Lead to help drive awareness, MQLS and revenues by focusing on persona driven and buyer journey content as well as Brand specific campaigns.
  • Ensuring all materials are Brand compliant and fit for purpose for use by our internal and external customers in order to support company positioning and visual identity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Content and Brand Lead, Digital Lead, and vendors to create content in a variety of mediums (including technical) for channels such as email, social, direct mail, events and digital platforms, to form a basis for highly targeted, multi-touch persona driven marketing campaigns that impact revenue and accelerate sales;
  • In partnership with Content and Brand Lead, develop and execute strategic Brand content and communications strategies that educate and engage prospects and customers on our company;
  • Reporting on assigned campaigns where required, focused on campaign activities – email, social, media, webinars and extracting dashboard stats from key platforms – feeding into Content and Brand Lead’s and Digital Lead’s reporting flow and cadence;
  • Design of corporate and internal collateral to brand standards using internal and external platforms and managing third party vendors to deadline and budget;
  • Positive and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and agencies;
  • Conduct interviews with subject matter experts and other contributors for content creation;
  • Champion content marketing strategy across the company;
  • Generate and use approved photo library, lexicon and editorial guidelines in all communications internally and externally;
  • Self motivated project and time management of all responsibilities;
  • Any other tasks or projects deemed acceptable by Head of Marketing, Content and Brand Lead or Digital Lead.

Requirements

Essential skills and attributes:

  • Experience in content generation and asset development in a wide range formats
  • Confident copywriting and copy editing tailored to audience needs and buyer personas
  • Ability to utilise SEO insights to develop and optimise content
  • Social media savvy
  • Knowledge / interest in video and post production
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to develop new skills
  • First-class organisation and a healthy obsession with deadlines

Desired skills and attributes:

  • Existing content marketing experience with depth in Business to Business (B2B) ideally in Life Science, Engineering or manufacturing
  • An understanding of marketing automation platforms (we use HubSpot) to maximise investment in content through automation, segmentation and personalization
  • Proven project management ability
  • Experience managing third party agencies and suppliers
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels
  • Experience with Adobe suite
