The Role
- Assisting the Trust and Estate Manager to administer Trusts, Estates and Probates, including gathering documentation on Probate and Estate cases, and dealing with banks and other third parties.
- Preparation of beneficiary tax returns/ reclaims and forms R185.
- Registering Trusts and Estates for the Trust Registration Service.
- Submitting annual Trust Registration Service updates.
- Assisting in the preparation of basic Trust tax returns
- Assisting in the preparation of Estates.
Who you are
- Good communication skills and confident telephone manner.
- Enthusiastic to learn and be involved in the team.
- Great organisation skills essential
Requirements
- Accountancy experience is beneficial but not necessary.
- Some office experience would be beneficial.
- Microsoft Excel and Word proficient.
Progression
Potential to progress to ATT or STEP and to become more involved in the technical aspects of the taxation of Trusts and Estates.
