Web Content Assistant

A new and exciting prospect of working with an ambitious team to help grow and support our newly built e-commerce web site. The role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to grow, learn and develop new skills whilst simultaneously taking the website success to new heights.

As an Online Content Assistant, you will have a knack for creative copywriting. An ideal candidate will possess excellent grammar skills, solid attention to detail and a passion for improving and enriching content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimise new and existing product content with best practices
  • Produce informative and engaging ‘how to guides’ across various categories
  • Learn and implement SEO best practices into your content and overall work
  • Enhance all aspects of product enrichment including imagery, attachments, and product attributes
  • Copywrite unique, engaging and informative product descriptions and general copywriting on the website where needed
  • Work closely with various teams and stakeholders when applicable for guidance and support
  • Use marketing and analytics tools to help monitor the success of your work and help optimise your time and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail to spot and correct web content that will enhance user experience
  • Provide regular communication and guidance to 3rd party suppliers that are managing their own content and product listings on the site

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in relevant subject is desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong command of English (both written and oral)
  • Talent and passion for copywriting and proofreading
  • Proactive and flexible attitude with excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Keen interest in digital marketing, SEO and self-studying
  • Strong experience of using excel to an intermediate level
  • Possess a passion to improving efficiencies and enhancing user experience
