Description
This role will be part of the content marketing team responsible for creating and executing world-class content marketing plans. The role will work with our content marketing managers, regional marketing teams and ABM marketers to create impactful and engaging content.
You will be part of a content team that produces engaging quality content that speaks to our global audiences and boosts engagement with our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write corporate editorials, blog posts and marketing copy to promote our products and services
- Partner with research and consulting teams to generate new content marketing ideas to promote industry-related topics
- Work with senior content marketers to deliver our Thought Leadership marketing programme
- Collaborate with creative services, product marketing and our research business to produce high-quality content
- Contribute to the global editorial calendar, coordinating with social media and PR teams to ensure timely publication
- Proofread, re-structure and edit articles by other marketers, optimising written pieces to increase user engagement.
- Build content on woodmac.com and publish articles on the website
- Optimise content considering SEO and Google Analytics
- Analyse web traffic metrics to find opportunities for improving performance
- Support in the development of podcasts and video content
- Publish newsletters and weekly blogs
Pension – 8% employer contribution
(Exceptions: Maplecroft and Verisk Claims UK Ltd (Validus) ER pension contribution levels at 4%).
Group Income Protection – after 26 weeks continuous absence, 67% of annual basic salary paid out for maximum of 2 years.

Life Assurance – 4x Annual Basic Salary
PTO (Paid time off) – 25 days annual leave of equivalent for part time employees.
Sick Pay Policy:
2 weeks @ 100% pay, next 24 weeks @ 67% pay
(Exceptions: Verisk Claims UK Ltd (Validus) Statutory only).
Entry requirements
- 5 GCSEs grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English and Maths)
- Educated to degree level
- A proven interest in Content Marketing
- An interest in working within a global B2B environment
- Interest in content creation and emerging content trends
- Possess excellent communication and writing skills in English – ideally a natural talent for content marketing
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence peers
- Be able to demonstrate experience in stakeholder management
- Have the ability to think creatively and with strong problem-solving skills
- Possess a proven track record of success both within education and the workplace
- Be energetic, eager, ambitious and have a genuine interest in developing and growing
