Curiously is a social first content brand and our mission is to take the everyday experiences life throws at us and think outside the box!
We believe in the magic of welcoming new ideas and helping people to discover all points of view so they can work out how they feel about all kinds of things.
From exploring parasocial relationships (why are we so obsessed with Harry Styles?!) or why baking ASMR is so addictive, to Black Mirror narratives (scarily) becoming a reality, we want to cover the things that will get people talking.
That’s why we’re looking for a Content Editor to aid us and the team to create compelling content aimed at engaging 25-34 year olds and giving them more of the news, sport, information and entertainment they are seeking.

Can you….?
Find, develop and edit stories from every area and community across the city while guiding the newsroom to produce content which engages readers and reaches as many people as possible?
Publish to the highest possible digital standards, including optimising for SEO, social media and registration while managing home pages and audience engagement channels, including social platforms?
Help build signed in communities and grow our loyal readership, finding new audiences in Birmingham and beyond?
Are you….?
Someone with your NCTJ or equivalent journalism degree and knowledge of media law or working towards this?
An experienced digital journalist who knows and loves Insta, Twitter, TikTok and Facebook to name a few?
Someone who has a successful background in a digital newsroom and puts people at the heart of every story?
Passionate about digital story telling with fantastic communication skills to match?
