The Role

As Educational Content Developer, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining educational written content for both our internal knowledge base and for our Help Centre. You will ensure that knowledge about internal processes and our product is managed effectively and efficiently within the Customer Experience department, and to our customers.

You can expect exciting tasks related to the creation of information materials for our fellow Personios and for existing customers. In close cooperation with several teams in the CX department, you will work on creating and maintaining content for new products, product releases, and relevant content for all the exciting changes Personio is experiencing. There is plenty of variety in both tasks and tools, and significant learning opportunities for the right candidate!

This role can be hybrid from our Dublin/Munich/Barcelona/Madrid/Amsterdam/Berlin/London offices or Remote.

These challenges await you:

• You will plan, create and optimize content for our existing customers and our internal team across multiple channels and formats (Help Center and Confluence)

• You will work in close coordination with Product Experts, CXE, Channel Managers, and Media Content Developers to craft the best content for each release and each project.

• You will proof-read content to ensure technical accuracy, and will review external translations to English.

• You will analyze the performance of existing content and drive optimization initiatives based on results.

What you need to succeed

• You have a degree in journalism, communication studies, technical writing, marketing, or similar background, or relevant job experience

• You have significant experience translating technical concepts into easy to read content for a varied audience

• You are technically savvy, with interest and ability to deal with different software products.

• You have professional experience in writing technical texts, user guides, implementation manuals or similar user-oriented documents.

• You are familiar with different content management systems (Wordpress, Zendesk Guide, Confluence)

• You are creative, open and have good communication skills with excellent English language proficiency (required). German, French, Italian, Dutch, or Spanish language proficiency would be a plus.

• You have strong linguistic and grammatical skills, with excellent attention to detail

• You enjoy working independently, but you have just as much fun exchanging ideas in cross-functional teams

• You have a well-structured, self-organized and reliable way of working

• You love to approach people in order to acquire new knowledge and you enjoy continuously developing yourself and your projects
