Beyond Bendrigg is a new initiative aimed at expanding the reach and impact of the Bendrigg Trust charity by providing training and consulting services to other organisations in order to promote values of inclusion and accessibility for people with disabilities.
Consulting and Innovations Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to set up a new business under the Bendrigg umbrella and to make a difference for many people by encouraging more inclusion and accessibility within society. The job holder will have responsibility for designing, organising, promoting and delivering a range of high-quality training courses and consulting offers in the field of disability awareness and inclusion for staff and volunteers in client organisations.

Bendrigg Trust aims to promote inclusion, encourage independence and build self-confidence through the safe provision of adventurous activities. Situated near Kendal in Cumbria, Bendrigg is an outdoor education centre specialising in working with people with disabilities.

Salary: £31,677 - £36,927 per annum: Salary dependant on previous relevant experience and qualifications.
Training: Professional development is actively encouraged and rewarded. Staff are provided with a generous training package with up to 10 days per year (pro rata) available for external training courses. We also run a number of internal training sessions throughout the year to support personal and professional development.
Subsistence: Food, drinks and refreshments are provided whilst on shift at Bendrigg.
Holidays: Holiday entitlement will accrue at a rate of 2½ working days per month (30 days + bank holidays per year) (pro rata).
Pension: All employees can take advantage of our pension arrangements whereby contributions of 5% from the employee are matched by 5% from Bendrigg Trust.
Contract: Whilst we are looking for someone to take up this position full time, we will consider a 0.8 contract (4 days per week).
