Job description

This role is a full-time position in the NHS in a Sheffield, South Yorkshire, Inpatient service; it offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in Learning Disability Psychiatry to work Monday to Friday. Your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose, and oversee the mental health of patients in your care.

Position: Consultant in Learning Disability Psychiatry

Hours: This position is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week

Setting: Inpatient

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Dates: The start date will be the 24th of August, and the position will be available for an Initial four months with a view to extending.

Requirements:

  • You must have a full GMC licence to practice
  • Relevant previous experience working in this type of position
  • Section 12 approval is essential
  • Approved clinician status is desired but not essential
