WMS are seeking to appoint a Small Works Manager to work within our team based in Yeovil, Somerset.
WMS Ltd are a property maintenance & construction company based throughout the Southwest with offices in Bideford, Yeovil, Redruth and Chudleigh. We carry out contracts for both Public and Private sectors throughout the southwest of England.
Your main duties will be delivering small refurbishment projects that could include managing response maintenance tasks to kitchen and bathroom schemes. Your main duties and responsibilities will be the following:
· Visiting properties in Somerset and potentially Devon to assess what works are required
· Taking detailed reports and photos of work required
· Pricing work using a pricing document and/or rates we will advise of
· Liaising with our own internal tradesmen and sub-contractors
· Communicating with clients regarding programmes and time frames along with invoicing of completed works
· Talking to residents, booking work and addressing concerns they may have

Qualifications, knowledge and experience:
· Full valid UK driver’s license with willingness to drive across the entirety of Somerset & Devon
· Have a proactive approach to both our company and the client.
· An understanding of the construction industry and/or property maintenance gained via experience. This role could suit an individual who wants to move from a site management role from the tools to a management position.
· Willingness to learn and develop into management
· Good IT skills with demonstrable knowledge of excel and other MS Office applications
· Smart and presentable with excellent time management skills
· Good attitude to Health and Safety
A DBS check will need to be completed upon appointment and salary is dependent on experience and qualifications held
