Streamline Government Contracts, founded in 2012, provides professional contract execution and management primarily for small and medium-sized federal contractors.
*We are looking for candidates who have Government Contracts Industry Experience and want to work remotely in a full-time capacity, 30 to 40 hours per week. Must be available for Zoom / Teams meeting with flexibility between 8:30am to 5pm ET Monday through Friday. However, work may be performed at the consultant’s discretion as long as it meets deadlines, and the consultant can attend meetings. The hourly rate is $57 to $63 depending on experience and if a 1099 vs. employee.
Strongly prefer that consultants own a laptop or desktop computer. HP, Dell, Panasonic, and Toshiba are all acceptable and compatible. Apple / Macs are not compatible. Streamline would provide PC for the right candidate. Appearing on cameras is required for client work and Streamline meetings.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work within set time parameters to complete assignments;
- Must be able to multitask and work with multiple clients, juggling competing priorities.
- Handle assigned contracts from initial award and set-up through close-out;
- Review contracts and contracts modifications;
- Prepare and update contract briefs with prescribed template;
- Prepare and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontracts;
- Correspondence with and / or preparing correspondence for Contracting Officers;
- Using Streamlines methods, provide suggestions to clients about how to manage contracts most effectively;
- Need to turn assignments around within guidelines; and
- Must have tech savvy abilities and proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, Zoom, an understanding of shared drives, and may require using multiple e-mail accounts, etc.
Location: This position is a remote position; however, preference will be given to candidates who are located in the Virginia or DC Metro area.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 10+ years Federal Contracts Management Experience in Industry (Contractor perspective – not on government site)
- Bachelor’s degree required (concentration in business or contracts is preferable);
- Must have thorough understanding of government FAR and DFAR regulations;
- Small Business GovCon Experience required;
- Excellent oral and written communication;
- Detail-oriented;
- Willing to follow Streamlines processes for consistency for all clients;
- Open to feedback (very important);
- Strong business acumen and good with numbers (i.e., ceiling, funding, etc.);
- Must be able to quickly turnaround assignments. Responsiveness is key;
- Preferred: Continually increases knowledge base for Contracts SME (i.e., webinars, FAR regulations, etc.);
- Preferred: GSA Contracts experience; and
- Preferred: CFCM or CPCM Certification.
