Job Title: Marketing Consultant
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Edinburgh, Alderley Edge or London
Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based
Closing date: 11th July 2023
We are currently looking for a Marketing Consultant to join Royal London in our Promotional Marketing Team. You will support with the delivery of adviser facing marketing activity, working collaboratively with colleagues across the Brand and Marketing function to deliver campaigns and content that help us achieve our commercial targets. You will work with the Marketing Manager to ensure that all activities are planned and orchestrated to deliver a one Royal London voice to our markets.
The team deliver marketing to support the ambitions of the UK life business, designing and delivering a cohesive marketing plan to support different life stage priorities.
This role is closely aligned with our purpose outcome of helping build financial resilience.
About the role
Bring sound marketing knowledge for relevant audience groups
Support delivery of promotional marketing activities – campaigns, communications and event support
Creation and delivery of content to support marketing activities
Experience across the channel mix including email / social media.
Support team priorities ensuring Marketing Manager is informed and able to ensure that all activities are delivered in line with the UK Life marketing plan
About you
Marketing experience
Good copywriting skills and understanding of how to apply brand and language guidelines
Experience creating content across a range of marketing channels
Good stakeholder management skills
Marketing qualification or equivalent experience
Industry experience desirable but not essential (specifically workplace pensions, pensions)
