Salary: $100 – 125K
We're seeking a Project Manager with construction experience in building multi-family projects.
Company is a leader in Multifamily / Large Plumbing and mechanical projects.
Sample projects include construction for apartment complexes, condos, student housing, senior housing, hotels, etc.
The Project Manager, reporting directly to the Project Executive, is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all phases of the project from early design all the way through construction and closeout. The Project Manager will work in the field and be responsible for company’s overall services and deliver on commitments to clients.

Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Engineering/Construction Management
- 5-year minimum industry experience
- Experience in Multifamily Residential Plumbing/Mechanical projects is an advantage
- Basic estimating and scheduling skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Computer Skills a must
- Working knowledge of AutoCad skills a plus
- Dependable and responsible who can take direction and work with little supervision
- Excellent communication and group presentation skills
Essential Functions include the following:
- Provide leadership and coordination for the project on a day to day basis. Integrate team communication
- Work closely with design team (internal or external) to assure company’s standards and scope of work is consistent with the project sales agreement and contract
- Pursue and seek approval for all CO’s required in both design and construction
- Organize and conduct regular internal Knowledge Transfer Meetings with Sales-Estimating-Engineering and Operations to plan and manage all aspects of our preconstruction services. Set the project up for success.
- Obtain “Bill of Material” during design to plan for and issue long lead items for PO and to verify material and labor cost are consistent with our estimate.
- Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs
- Prepare document distributions to subcontractors
- Work closely with project superintendents to support their needs and challenges in the field
- Attend and document project meetings
- Assist with preparation of schedules and master schedule
- Evaluate field problems and document RFIs
- Prepare and maintain RFI logs on system
- Review, evaluate and transmit submittals
- Perform expediting functions
- Verify original estimate quantities for labor cost reports
- Cost code and/or verify correct codes on time sheets
- Prepare and document extra work orders
- Review and assemble change order submittals and quantity surveys
- Compile contract close out documents
- Document punch list work
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
EDUCATION
- BS/BA in Engineering/Construction Management
