PM Group is looking for a Construction Manager to support a pharmaceuticals company based in Northumberland.
:Responsibilities:
Liaising with the client representatives and the Principal Designers.- Review of Construction Phase Plans/RAMS and alignment with Organon expectations.
- Ensuring contractors remain compliant during implementation of the project programme though use of client engagement tools.
- Providing site induction and attend start up meetings.
- Ensuring site is maintained to a high standard to aid in the prevention of H&S incidents and to promote ‘Pharmaceutical’ standards.
- Consult with work force on matters of Health Safety.
- Support all aspects of project implementation through all phases of implementation.
- Assist in the supply of all supporting installation, commissioning documentation and witness testing upon completion of works.
- Ensure the delivery of installations are to contract specification.
Requirements:
NEC 3/4 Supervisor Certified (or willing to undertake NEC Certification)- Willing to work in secure and sensitive environment.
- Demonstrable skills in dealing and working closely with internal and external customers and suppliers on complex and interrelated issues.
- A proven track record working in the Built Environment planning, managing, and monitoring construction work.
- Demonstrate an exceptional level of awareness and understanding in construction environment, safety and health regulations and legislation.
- Construction/Build Environment Qualification such as NVQ Level 6, ONC, HNC, HND OR Degree Level aligned to their discipline/specialism.
- Hold an appropriate industry recognised safety scheme, e.g., CSCS Managers card, CCNSG Safety Passport card or suitable equivalent.
- Completed the Site Managers/Supervisors Safety Training Scheme. (SMSTS, SSSTS.)
