Construction Manager Wanted
A growing construction company is in need of a construction manager. This role would suit a newly qualified site manager, surveyor, or Quantity Surveyor looking to gain some experience in the construction industry.
Your role would include but not be limited to:
Communicating with clients
Issuing requests for information
Issuing confirmations of Instructions
Creating and updating cost schedules, plans, programs, and registers
Purchasing materials
Issuing, creating, and updating valuation documents and information.
To be successful, you must be proficient in the use of:
Word
Excel (an excellent understanding is vital)
MS Teams
PDF manipulation
MS Project
Good written English
You must also have a solid ability to manage time and tasks and be punctual and efficient.
As part of the interview, we will ask you to demonstrate your written English and ability to use the software.
You will also be required to have a positive personal credit score as you will be issued a company card to make necessary purchases.
You will need to show a broad knowledge of the construction industry and be expected to work with contractors, conduct inductions, adhere to H&S, deal with site deliveries, etc.
You must hold a minimum CSCS (black card, Ideally), SMSTS, and First Aid At Work 3 Day. Fire Marshal Desirable.
Excellent communication skills and good H&S knowledge.
You will be reporting directly to a visiting Contracts Manager.
Job Types: Full-time (CIS/Self Employed only)
Salary: £250 p/day based on working hours Mon-Fri. 8 am – 5 pm. (plus an annual performance bonus in a region of £3,000 to £5,000 after tax)
