We’re looking for a Civils Estimator to join our Infra & Non-Infra team in the South West. Within this role you can enjoy partial remote working, company car or cash allowance, progression opportunities and so much more!

Contract: Permanent- full time, part time/ flexible hours may be available, just let us know
Responsibilities
As Civils Estimator, you’ll be responsible for managing and co-ordinating information for bids on our south west water framework
Your day to day will include:
- Review documents, drawings, submission requirements and specifications to prepare accurate costing sheets
- Collecting quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors
- Present estimate at Tender vet
- Researching materials, equipment, and labour costs
- Clearly convey the financial elements of a tender to site staff at tender handover
- Detailed analysis of subcontractors returns, including preparation of tender recommendation reports
- Negotiate price settlement with Client cost consultant
What are we looking for?
This role of Civils Estimator is great for you if you hold:
- Experience of managing the process of estimating projects, within the civil engineering and water industry
- Good working knowledge of Excel and pricing data bases
- Experience of construction methodology, ability to assess buildability & commercial awareness
