Construction Delay Analyst
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Delay Analyst to join our dynamic client. As a Construction Delay Analyst, you will play a critical role in assessing and analysing construction project delays, providing expert insights and recommendations to ensure successful project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse construction project schedules and identify potential delays and their causes.
- Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of delay claims, including reviewing contracts, project documents, and relevant data.
- Utilize industry-standard delay analysis methodologies to determine the extent and impact of delays on construction projects.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing delay analysis findings and recommendations for project stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and legal teams to provide expert testimony and support in construction dispute resolution processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in delay analysis techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience working as a Construction Delay Analyst or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficient knowledge of construction contracts, project scheduling, and relevant delay analysis methodologies (e.g., CPM, Time Impact Analysis, As-Planned vs. As-Built, Critical Path etc).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and evaluate complex issues related to construction project delays.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and effectively communicate complex analysis findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with construction dispute resolution processes, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation, is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are desirable.
