To support our continuous growth, we are looking for a highly motivated Accounting and Finance Assistant to enhance our finance team and support the business as integration in to Telefonica Tech UK&I ramps up.
Primary accountabilities
The key responsibilities of the Accounting and Finance Assistant are:
· Supporting the Project Accountant by reviewing contracts and ensuring invoicing profiles are adhered to.
· Providing weekly and other ad hoc reports for the Project Accountant and Project Managers
· Ensuring monthly reconciliation, and production of control files, for all balance sheet accounts including reporting any issues to Financial Controller
· Preparing supporting analysis for group costs to be reviewed by the Financial Accountant
· Supporting group Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
· Preparing information for external advisors relating to aspects of Group statutory reporting
What you bring to Incremental Group
You will be a highly motivated individual that brings the following:
· Possess a HND or above in a finance-specific subject and have an interest in pursuing a career in accounting and finance or have previous experience in a similar role.
· Ability to manage personal workload and prioritise on short, medium and long-term goals
· Strong communication skills and an ability to clearly articulate a message to a range of stakeholders in the business
· Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle changing workload priorities
· Experience of working in the finance function of a professional services organisation advantageous but not a requirement
· Working knowledge of Microsoft ERP systems (AX, D365) beneficial
· A confidence to challenge where necessary in an appropriate, factual and balanced way
