Who are we?

Urban Chic is a provider of luxury serviced apartments that offers a bespoke home away from home experience. Each apartment is furnished and decorated to the highest standard with tasteful furniture. All in the most central locations in London, such as Bayswater, Notting Hill, Covent Garden, Marylebone, Fitzrovia, Mayfair and Soho.

About the role:

You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fixing a variety of things in our apartments. Likely including general building and construction work such as house refurbishment, kitchen and bathroom install.

It will also involve the following duties but not limited to:

  • Painting
  • Hanging doors and fitting skirting boards
  • Tiling walls and floors
  • Installing/replacing locks

Undertaking small plumbing repairs and minor electrical tasks such as, but not limited to:

  • Changing lightbulbs/lamps
  • Changing transformers
  • Changing light switches/sockets
  • Unblocking sinks, toilets and drains
  • Stopping leaks and identifying signs of leak
  • Replacing taps
  • Replacing traps

This vacancy will be most suitable for a self-employed individual so please only reply if you have the skills and experience to fulfil the above requirements as only those with experience will be considered

About you:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Have a full clean UK driving licence
  • Confident in driving a van
  • Ability to plan your own day efficiently
  • Be organised
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to work as part of a team

Schedule:

We take work-life balance seriously!

Between Monday and Sunday - Subject to rota

40 hours per week – 5 days a week

10:00 to 18:00 – 30 minutes break paid

Salary: £39,000.00 per year
