We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct care and support to our patients. Your primary duties will include assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring their health and well-being, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor patients' health and well-being, including taking vital signs and reporting any changes to medical staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients
- Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain your skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays
