Job description
Kennedys is looking for an Associate / Senior Associate to join the Property, Energy and Construction team in its new team based in Bristol, in order to assist with a caseload of coverage, recovery and defence disputes. You will help to grow the team in Bristol but also be on hand to assist other members of the team based in London.
Team
Kennedys team specialise in property, energy and construction insurance claims, assisting insurers and reinsurers of major multi-national companies in relation to their UK and global exposures. We provide coverage advice and defend high-value, international and complex claims.

- Providing coverage advice
- Pursuing subrogated recoveries
- Defending high value and complex claims.
Required experience
- 4+ years' Qualified Solicitor with insurance litigation experience*
- Experience of complex work in Property and Construction claims
- It would also be helpful to have experience of handling professional indemnity claims against property and construction clients
- To be proactive and take initiative
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage own time, excellent organisation skills
- Strong technical and research skills
- Excellent client skills and attendance at business development events.
