Person Specification:
We are recruiting for Keeper volunteers in our Primates and Predators section.

Become part of a great team and join us in making sure that the Predators & Primates section is looking and functioning at its very best, for our animals and visitors alike. Ranging from squirrel monkeys to Asiatic lions you'll be helping us take care of animals of all shapes and sizes. Some of our animals are high security so contact with them will be restricted but this just means we need to be more ingenious and creative in making sure they are kept physically and mentally fit and healthy! You will be on your feet all day, cover a lot of distance around the zoo, and potentially be lifting and carrying heavy objects so physical fitness is a must. Volunteering with us once a fortnight would be ideal.
To Apply:
Applicants will need to upload their CV and answer the screening questions (detailing your relevant experience, interest and availability) and can do this by clicking the "Apply for this role online" button above.

Please be aware that this role requires good levels of fitness and people to feel comfortable with the conditions outlined above. We do however encourage applications from all and we can discuss any access requirements you may have if invited to attend an interview and/or trial session.

Closing date for applications: Midnight (23:59) 7th April 2023

Interviews will be arranged after the closing date. If you don't feel comfortable working with this animal section or with the conditions above, then please wait for our next round of recruitment for Keeper Volunteer roles.
