Forbes Bros. Ltd. is currently looking for an experienced Laborer (full-time) to join our FB Connect - Electric Vehicle Charging Stations team! This position will support crew members with the installation of electric vehicle charging stations for world renowned vehicle manufacturers. These projects will be mainly within, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba areas.

The Laborer will demonstrate attention to detail, a-bility to adapt to changing working conditions and prioritize safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lives Forbes Bro. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day
• Placing underground conduit
• Carry and move materials as needed
• Operating small equipment and hand tools
• Pouring and finishing concrete
• Spotting for vehicles and equipment
• Site setup and cleanup, ensuring trash, debris and potential dangerous materials from the construction site are removed
• Assisting craft/crew members with work
• Follow instruction and adhere to safe work practices
• Development of skills on varied and challenging tasks
• Perform additional laborer tasks and duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum one (1) years' experience in concrete forming and/or finishing or carpentry is required
• General knowledge of the principals involved in the operation of construction, maintenance methods and procedures considered an asset
• Ability to travel to various work sites in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba with work hour flexibility to accommodate to remote/site work schedules
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions and environments, inclusive of heavy lifting
• Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of Pre-Access D&A testing, presenting a valid Driver's License and an acceptable five (5) year drivers abstract
