Pre-Construction Assistant. (Based in Kidderminster)
Our client, a medium sized Main Contractor operates throughout the UK.
Carrying out construction projects for blue chip clients ranging in value from £1M up to £25M.
The Role
Accountable to the Pre-Construction Director
Relationships: Managing Director/Wider Team/Clients
This is an interesting full time, varied, supporting role, providing administrative and document control assistance for the team. The Pre-Construction Assistant will provide effective and efficient organisation of administration matters to support the team and ensure smooth running of activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and ensuring completion of Pre-Qualification questionnaires.
- Tender questionnaires and submissions.
- Support in preparation of business presentations.
- Document control for the department.
- Keep files up to date, printing all the required information.
- Assist in following up supply chain tenders as necessary.
- Administration associated with Tenders and Budgets.
- Maintain and generally update the company website.
- Maintain and generally update the company social media platforms.
- Ad hoc general duties as required to support the team.
Key Skills
Essential:
- Experience in a similar administration role.
- Strong PowerPoint skills to prepare presentations.
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office / 365 software suite including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, etc. (bespoke system training will be provided where applicable)
- Communication skills.
- Prioritising and management of workload to work to and maintain deadlines.
- Integrate and become part of our Team.
Desirable:
- Experience of the building and construction industry.
- Experience of pre-qualification and tender process is preferred, but not essential
- Adaptability to new processes, skills and systems.
- A flexible and proactive approach to a variety of work elements at any given time.
- High level of accuracy.
- Good understanding of confidentiality / data protection / GDPR
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
