Your role
Do you have experience of working with Simcorp? Do you understand how Asset Management works? Do you want to work for a market leader? We’re looking for a SCD configuration developer to enhance our SimCorp Dimension platform. UBS has an extensive installation of SimCorp hosted at the firm, supporting a multi-asset global Asset Management business. The Developer role involves:
- collaborate to refine user requirements though test-driven development (TDD)
- document the provided resolutions
- configure existing and new solutions across SimCorp Dimension platform support new initiatives or small business change requests
- providing expertise in SimCorp setup and operations to improve platform effectiveness – and support technology and business teams
- analyze root causes of incidents and provide answers and strategic fixes
- review SimCorp upgrade Release Notes to determine supporting configuration requirements to benefit from any new functionality
Your team
You’ll be working in the Simcorp Dimension Business Change Team based in London, with colleagues in Pune and Chicago. We provide engineering/support services to Asset Management business divisions. Together as a team, we provide solutions to unique business/market requirements in line with the established Corporate IT Standards. As a SCD developer, you'll play an important role in delivering business led solutions.
Your expertise
- ideally 3-5 years of experience as a SCD Developer, with a solid understanding of all principle modules
- experience of building upon principle modules within SimCorp Dimension
o Performance Calculations, COAC Manager, Asset Manager, Order Manager, Settlement Manager, Dashboards, STP, Auxiliary & Batch Jobs, General Segments, embedded formulas
- Good understanding of asset management business
o trading and securities lifecycle events
- strong documentation skills, including experience with tools such as MS Visio
- inquisitive, able to challenge effectively and manage conflicting stakeholder needs
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
