We are currently looking for an experienced PMO Manager to join our Chief Transformation Office, Enterprise PMO (ePMO) Team on a permanent basis.
As PMO Manager you will successfully lead on delivering outstanding quality of PMO services and understanding what the customer values most to deliver a recognised value add service to senior leaders and executives for delivery of change. Your main areas of responsibility are Portfolio level Financial Control & Reporting (working closely with Finance) and Benefit Management Control & Reporting.
About the role
Set direction for and embeds governance and control standards, procedures, processes and techniques for planning, scheduling, monitoring to support the delivery of the Chief Transformation Office (CTO) strategy, operational business objectives and capability targets.
Lead the development of PMO capabilities for methods and tools (including automation) to ensure adoption and adherence to policies and standards.
Supply regular inputs to the Portfolio Delivery Committee, Programme Boards, Senior Leaders and Executives to support informed decision making.
Provide critical challenge to and influence senior stakeholders in situations of concern.
Create highly professional communications in relevant media appropriate to the audience. Provide leadership direction to the PMO team and across CTO ensuring UK Portfolio Delivery Committee priorities are delivered.
About you
Have excellent relationship management skills with the ability to obtain buy-in and build consensus to underpin successful implementation of changes in method, standards, processes and tooling. Strong experience of PPM tools and Microsoft applications
Ability to apply critical thinking to aggregate, manipulate and analyse data to challenge complex discrepancies in underpinning data to identify and present valuable data insights and/or conclusions.
Drive improvement recommendations and produce solutions in an intelligent and effective way.
Demonstrate PMO experience in delivering a wide range of Programmes and Portfolios within a financial services ePMO
Are proactive and future thinking around the management and control of programme/portfolio costs and benefits.
Will contribute to organisational policies, standards, and guidelines and methodology (waterfall & agile).
