Our client at Burberry are currently looking for multiple Assistant Merchandisers to join their team in London on an initial 2 month contract.
They are looking for someone to start early May and are offering £100-£150 per day depending on experience.
They would need to be flex in terms of travel, including travel to Paris. Could be working across different categories, depending on our needs, across womens/ mens/ kids.The ideal candidate will have the below:* Previous experience in Fashion or Luxury or Buying or Merchandising * Previous experience in using Excel and Powerpoint * Genuine passion for Fashion, Trends, Brands, Creativity, Arts * Business mindset, analytical skills * Product sense * Attention to details * High EQ and communication skills * Pragmatic/ entrepreneurial mindset * Positive attitude, "can do" attitude, pro-active * Team player is fundamental
JOB PURPOSE To provide accurate and consistent administration support to the Merchandising team. RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage all PLM data entry * Prepare reports using excel for Merchandising team * Owning sample management process (Tracking & Ordering & Maintaining) * Conduct competitive analysis including Pricing Analysis * Partner with the Corporate Pricing team to understand price-bands across the three core currencies and report back findings to the Merchandising team; maintain data to support the price structure in PLM. * Organise and coordinate collection notes and buying guides. * Coordinate and support all administration duties relating to market training for the Merchandising team. * Deliver any ad hoc administration and assistant duties to ensure smooth running of the team. PERSONAL PROFILE * Passion for commerce/product. * Demonstrates commercial instinct. * Strong Analytical skills. * Retail maths skills. * Advanced skills in Excel.
